Terms of Service
By requesting a consultation or engaging GM Cabinetry for a project, you agree to the following terms. Please read them carefully before moving forward.
1. Services
GM Cabinetry provides custom cabinetry design, fabrication, and installation services. The scope of work for each project is defined in a written proposal provided before work begins. Services not included in the written scope are not covered under these terms.
2. Payment & Deposits
A deposit is required to begin fabrication on any project. The deposit amount and payment schedule will be outlined in your project proposal. Final payment is due upon completion of installation unless otherwise agreed in writing.
3. Cancellations
Deposits are non-refundable once materials have been ordered or fabrication has begun. If you need to cancel or postpone a project, please contact us as early as possible. We will work with you to find a reasonable resolution.
4. Intellectual Property
All designs, drawings, and custom specifications created by GM Cabinetry for your project remain the intellectual property of GM Cabinetry until the project is paid in full. We reserve the right to photograph completed work for portfolio and marketing use.
5. Liability
GM Cabinetry is not liable for delays caused by material shortages, client-requested changes, or conditions at the installation site that were not disclosed prior to project start. We stand behind our workmanship and will address any defects caused by our fabrication or installation.
6. Changes to Terms
These terms may be updated from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page. For active projects, the terms in effect at the time of your signed proposal govern the engagement.
